About me
Having qualified as a Counsellor in 1998, I began working in Kent Prisons for a charity, setting up services for long term offenders and substance misusers. I provided counselling, groupwork and facilitated the first 2 months of a 6 month rehabilitation programme, in a high security prison.
After 3 years I moved into community based services recruiting and training student counsellors and providing counselling at GP surgeries in Medway and Swale. For the next 8 years, I managed a counselling and outreach service in Rochester.
Since April 2010 I began working independently holding a number of clinics throughout Medway, where I can be flexible and use a range of treatments to meet individual needs. I also provide consultancy services.
I am fully insured, attend regular supervision and continued professional development training. Additionally I work inline with BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and the Hypnotherapy Association guidelines. Plus I have recently renewed my CRB check.
